Cécred launches with a Foundation Collection, comprising eight products designed to cleanse, condition, and visibly repair hair. The formulations feature a distinct Temple Oud scent and adhere to strict global ingredient safety guidelines while being cruelty-free.
Drawing inspiration from hair rituals across different cultures, the line includes a variety of ingredients such as butters, oils, honey, and fermented rice water to deeply nourish the hair, the products provide indulgent sensory delights and exceptional visible results.
Knowles-Carter’s dedication to haircare stems from her personal journey. Having grown up assisting in her mother Tina Knowles’ hair salon, where she observed firsthand the meticulous blending of technology-driven formulas with natural butters and oils to nurture healthy hair. Joining Cécred as vice chairwoman, Tina Knowles brings over 40 years of expertise as a hairstylist, salon owner, and entrepreneur. “Throughout my career, I’ve been privileged to witness the joy clients experience as their hair becomes healthier, shinier, and more vibrant,” says Knowles. “I’ve personally witnessed how these products have effectively halted breakage. To achieve this, Cécred will collaborate with Knowles-Carter’s philanthropic foundation, BeyGOOD, to establish the BeyGOOD x Cécred Fund. This initiative aims to honor the expertise and influence of professional stylists in promoting hair health and advocating for the salon community. Annually, $500,000 will be allocated towards cosmetology school scholarships and salon business grants.
