Rewordable the first non-digital game to be accepted as part of the NYU Game Center’s Incubator program is a unique word game that reminds me of scrabble.  Rewordable is a game for 2-8 players and is the result of a computer-aided game design process.

The three creators of Rewordable all met as students at New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP). The creators took their idea to Kickstarter and exceeded their $15,000.00 goals and 1,232 backers help bring their idea to life by contributing a total $43,342.00.

The game includes 120 cards, 16 reward tokens, and an 8-page full color rule booklet. I had an opportunity to play this game with friends and we all agree it was a welcome break from constantly looking at a cell phone screen.  We definitely enjoyed the human interaction, something we often take for granted.
