Beyoncé and adidas Champions the Values of Inclusivity, Community, and Diversity with the Launch of the adidas x IVY PARK Collection

 

Featuring the first-ever release of IVY PARK footwear and a powerful array of stylish and functional performance gear that includes gender-neutral apparel and accessories, adidas and Beyoncé announced their collaboration for the first adidas x IVY PARK collection.  The collection will become available starting January 18, 2020, online at http://www.adidas.com and in select stores. Items are currently available in sizes XS-XL.  Prices range from $25 for accessories to $250 for outerwear.

adidas is a global leader in the sporting goods industry with the core brands adidas and Reebok  Beyoncé, one of the most celebrated visionaries of our time, has united with adidas, to design a collection that combines fashion and storytelling in an unprecedented way.  The partnership respects Beyoncé’s ownership of IVY PARK and continues her journey as one of the first black women to be the sole owner of an athleisure brand.

The style of the collection illustrates a work ethic as relentless and innovative as that of its creator.  The collection’s color palette boasts the vivid colors of solar orange and maroon with cream that makes a statement as bold as the wearer. Utilitarian jumpsuit, cargo pants hoodie, and cycling shorts reinforce the attitude.  Items are multi-purpose with layers built into several pieces that equip the wearer with the tools they need to be creative and get their work done, whether on the field, or on the street. Asymmetry is seen in a dress and coat, and harness detailing appears throughout the collection, whether as straps on a sports bra, bag or backpack.  adidas x IVY PARK footwear styles reinterpret iconic adidas classics with statement colors and a fresh design approach.

Kendall JennerTroye SivanHalima Aden, and Valli fans attended the Giambattista Valli x H&M fashion show that was set against the backdrop of one of Rome’s historical landmarks, Palazzo Doria Pamphilj, on October 24. The show ended in a spectacular grand finale parade led by Kendall in the now famous red dress featured by the model in the campaign. Guests included Sofia CarsonAlexa Demie, H.E.R, Cameron Monaghan, Chiara Ferragni, and Chris Lee, all dressed in looks from the new collection.

After the fashion show and cocktail party, guests moved down Via del Corso to the Grand Hotel Plaza, another Roman landmark of timeless splendor and elegance for the after-party hosted by DJ collective Circoloco, where Peggy Gou and Seth Troxler, as well as Clara3000, were playing.  The Giambattista Valli x H&M collection, with womenswear, menswear, a first for Valli, and accessories, will be launched in select H&M stores worldwide, as well as on hm.com, November 7th, 2019.

On Friday, September 6th, SON JUNG WAN, CHRISTOPHER JOHN ROGERS, and BEVZA presented their Spring Summer 2020 runway collection at Spring Studios in New York City.

SON JUAN WAN’S retro meets glamour runway collection featured both womenswear and menswear with a vibrant color palette bringing spring to life on the runway. Vibrant colors such as neon mint, electric blue, yellow, and rose gold dominated the runway with layered iridescent fabrics, and embroidered dresses.

Baton Rouge–born, Brooklyn-based designer Christopher John Rogers presented his first-ever runway collection for New York Fashion Week.  The collection was a colorful and playful take on classic silhouettes.

BEVZA

Ukrainian womenswear designer, founder, and ideologist of BEVZA,  Svitlana Bevza, presented her collection for her namesake label with her signature clean simple silhouettes.  BEVZA, who normally explores the idea of white colors’ superiority, which is the most essential element of the label, provided a collection with a neutral palette.
