Louis Vuitton presents its Cruise Collection campaign with Alicia Vikander

Louis Vuitton Spirit of Travel

Louis Vuitton makes a stop for its cruise advertising campaign in Ibiza, after the Cruise 2018 fashion show in Kyoto, Japan. To capture the campaign’s images, the magical landscape between the sky and sea, Louis Vuitton sought out photographer Patrick Demarchelier.

The quest for freedom and adventure in the world’s far corners is the spirit of travel at Louis Vuitton and the Louis Vuitton woman. The house has selected actress Alicia Vikander to embody the Louis Vuitton woman in their latest campaign. Riding along with this venturesome actress is the spirit of pioneering designer Kansai Yamamoto. Yamamoto continues his quest for pure serenity.

At Alicia’s side are Louis Vuitton’s Twist and Capucines handbags. Capucines, with its discreet elegance, is emblematic of the House and its craftmanship, whereas Twist is one of the new classics dreamed up and designed by Nicolas Ghesquière. The images will  appear in November 2017 issues of magazines worldwide.Louis Vuitton The Spirit of Travel

The Global Journey of “Voguez, Volez, Voyagez – Louis Vuitton” Continues With its Arrival in New York City

Curated by Olivier Saillard, “Volez, Voguez, Voyagez—Louis Vuitton” has traveled from Paris’s Grand Palais, to Tokyo, to Seoul, and now it has arrived at the iconic American Stock Exchange Building in New York City(86 Trinity Place), and will open to the public on October 27, 2017.

The exhibit leads visitors through the history of the luxury retail and fashion house founded in 1854 on Rue Neuve des Capucines in Paris, France. In 1896, the company launched the signature Monogram Canvas to prevent counterfeiting. Synonymous with spectacular opulence, ironically the Louis Vuitton brand is one of the most counterfeited brands to date. Louis Vuitton operates in 50 countries with more than 460 stores worldwide through standalone boutiques and lease departments in high-end department stores.

“Volez, Voguez, Voyagez—Louis Vuitton” is free and will remain open to the public from October 27, 2017 through January 7, 2018.
