3D Printing….Something that you could only have imagined seeing on an episode of Star Trek …has become one of the newest innovation that has change the way we see the see world. From food to fashion, to furniture to art, and everything in between, 3D printing has revolutionize manufacturing products by creating a three dimensional object by building it layer by successive layer, until the entire object is complete. Imagine printing in two dimensions on a sheet of paper, but with an added third dimension. While many people haven’t heard of 3D printing, the process has been in use for decades. Many manufacturers have long used the printers in the design process to create prototypes for traditional manufacturing.
3D Print Week in New York, hosted by Meckler Media, is a series of events and activities aimed at celebrating the creative and professional opportunities within the 3D printing industry.
